The modern world operates on money .with money , bills are paid, bigger house and cars can be bought and holidays to other country paid for.In fact , we live in a materriallistic society where no one can deny that money is a necessity of life and where people talk in term and condition of money .Therefore, it is not surprising that for most people , the only thing that interests them is money.

I simply agreed with you. In today world's money is top of most of the peoples mind coz the living standard is very high. We need to pay for everything but the main thing is our salary didn't increased. So as a result of these people always talked about money and when they look for any job, salary is the first thing that came to their mind. Basically, we are paying a lot of unnecessary things nowasdays.
That's why a lot of people wanted to migrate to a country where the living standard is much lower so people don't talk about money when they open their mouth.

You may not be completely right, For example people give advice on here and its not for money. Myself and many others are interested in the welfare of others and animals, thats not for money.

If you moved to some tropical island where you had enough to eat and drink money would no longer be a passion.

You just need enough to live on and have some enjoyment, look for ways of living free, dont let money be your god

They may be interested because it is a concern if you don't want to live on the street and eat out of garbage cans. Yes, materialistic, bladdy blah blah, we all know what life is like now. But this is life and so long as you're aware of your motivations behind money and control yourself as opposed to having it control you, then what else would you suggest?

Sex, Money, Religion.
That is the name of my church. Come, Come and worship and give your money and yourself and you will be saved. I promise.
Really, I promise.
It's true.
You will be loved for just being you. Your money will be worthless in the eyes of the one true god, so give it as an offering. Here in my arms is where you will find peace and comfort.
Money will not bring you happiness or fullfilment.
Sex is an empty act without love and believing.
You need to turn yourself over to the church of Sex, Money and Religion.
Come to me baby. You know it's the right thing to do.

Actually I do not want to answer this until I saw the church asking for Monies.

Before I proceed, I would like to say People are not generally interested in Money, but the need to use monies especially in this days of economic society. Gone are the days where the subsistence farmer are able to provide everything in his own back yard and where social services such as education, public security etc are provided by the Kings and Lords. Even then, the need to pay taxes which is annually is for the landowners and the richer ones only.

So as time goes buy, using of monies, which then known as the greatest invention after fire, has then cause people to learn on its uses and through generation of time, the needs for this use thus grow along with it.

Through time, money has evolved to become one of the natural one to enable people in to live in a modern lifestyle of interdependecy. For eg. you no longer need to teach your own child but sent him to school. The teachers are paid to teach and therefore has the income to go and buy the meat from the market butcher. He inturns do not need to rear the pig but then imports it from the mass production factory or slaughter house. The pigs comes from the farmers whose jobs are paid by buying foodstuff from another pig food processing company.etc

I am sure that you will find that these interdependencies in a modern society goes on and on and on.

But over time, one have to realise the society perception and values changes. For eg. in our early days, to hear of our grandparents going for vacation or holiday is unheard of. their off days are staying at home or visiting relatives. but over time, values closed the lifestyle changes making people begin to live in smaller secular units thus making their dependancies on material comfort more than compared to yester years,

As for churches, they are the riches organisation in the world and there is no need to pledge further monies to them. It is my opinion, that the churches today have more incomes (in the region of Billions and investment) and the fact that giving my house or monies to them will absolved my sins when I am say a seriel killer is absurb. Now adays more and more churches are turning to become a fratinity of young rockers which is appaling and they go there for fun and company. Religious knowledge believes me....NEAR ZERO

don't kid me. i BELIEVED IN CHRIST TOO BUT WHAT THE OTHER REPLY TO REQUEST FOR PLEDGING IN SUCH MANNER IS UNETHICAL.
