Either colgate or a brand called rembrandt. Both are as good as each other although Rembrandt is more expensive.
The other alternative is to make your own!

Use a normal, everyday toothpaste and mix with bicarbonate of soda.

Its not recommended to use whitening toothpaste veryday so I mix in bicarb with my usual one on occasion.

You can get bicarbonate of soda from supermarkets or chemists and its very cheap!

Happy smiling!!!

I'm fairly certain this isn't the answer you want, but I don't think any of them are worthwhile. They end up all over your gums and since they can chap lips I don't see how they can be good for your gums. Any product that causes damage for the sake of appearance is just silly in my opinion. Also, it should be noted that repeated damage to the gums can cause them to recede exposing dentin and along with that comes a whole new set of problems.

My advice is to have a dentist whiten your teeth. This way you won't be exposing your gums and lips to much damage. With a toothpaste I think you'd have to wait a very long time to see significant improvement. They also tend to react with amalgam fillings ( Metalic looking fillings made of a mercury, copper and silver alloy ) , leaving a bad taste in the mouth. I don't know if they cause amalgam fillings to leach mercury faster than norm, though I'd not be surprised.

Finally, there is no reason to trust the American Dental Association or any other medical monopolist over-sight lobby. In the end we're the ones who get stuck with the results of our decisions and accountability of say, the FDA, is virtually nonexistant. Did you know that those alchoholic mouthwashes increase the risk of oral cancer? They do, but does it say so anywhere on the bottle? One way they'll dodge accountability is by changing the active ingredients in the toothpaste over the years to some 'new and improved' ones, for example.

This is a game. They create a need by making you feel ugly with teeth that don't look like sun bleached bones in the desert. Then they sell you some toothpaste that's just strong enough to whiten teeth if given forever, and weak enough not to send you screaming from the chemical burns to your lips and gums.

I dont think anything works very well. I use Blanx which costs around 6.99, but I also had my teeth whitened by laser treatment, they looked really white for a few months but it seems to have faded. I think veneers are the only thing to make your teeth look really white, but cost around 1k per tooth so start saving!

all of them are pretty much the same - dont waste to mauch money on the fancy more expensive stuff..the best advice is to go to your dentist and ask him to apply a whitening treatment - this works much better - ask me....i am so happy with the results and it was not that expensive
some of those stuff you buy off the shelf will harm and damage your gums..be carefull

Just don't go near pearl-drops its very bad for your teeth!
It takes off the enamel and then your smoking and coffee stains will stain further into the tooth!
The least abrasive stuff is Rembrandt.

pearl drops hollywoodsmile is good. Though saying that, sometimes natural solutions work best of all. Try some lemon juice and bicarb of soda on your toothbrush, at night before you sleep. You will notice a difference for sure! Hope this helps :)

'smokers' with 'pearl drops' - beats the mainstream toothpastes anyday and costs about the same.
