What ever happened to that gay acting wrestler named Nico? He was great for some comic relief? Did they refuse to renew his contract or something?

I believe you are referring to Rico. He was released from the WWE last year. I believe it was simply because his character wasn't selling as good as they thought he would. I was sorry to see Matt Morgan be released. I think he would fit in well in the new ECW.

Former WWE superstar Rico has retired from professional wrestling. Rico recently quit the All Japan Pro Wrestling group after another wrestler decided to shoot on him in the ring. He now plans on becoming a firefighter in Las Vegas, NV.
