During the dino period, there was no India. It was a land locked place, with no such thing as is now called India.
The entire place of today's N.America, Europe, Asia, Africa and Australia were one huge land mass. India did not exist. This is why you will see Arians in India and they have European facial features.
The land mass separated some millenniums ago and the land above the present India was pushed ahead to form the mount Everest. That land, India, is still pushing mount Everest and the peak is growing at the rate of 6"-10" every year even today...!!!
This is also the reason why you will see oil deposits in various parts of the world because in pre-historic days the fossils were roaming the earth. Very bizarre but sad that they are now extinct.
If we are not careful, we will end up eliminating and making several species extinct by our own action. Now, do you see the importance of preserving the earth as is and we, the humans, do not act so stupid and kill each other and other species with nuclear bombs???

In Pangea, the land which would someday be called India was an island continent much like Australia is today. It was sitting on a tectonic plate headed in the direction of Europe-Asia and eventually, a hundred million years later, collided with it at the point where the Himalayas are now.

The Indian subcontinent was a part of a part of Pangea originally - like most of the major land masses were - and then belonged with Gondwana before breaking off and moving out on it's own.
