I believe at one time it probably was scripted to have someone off camera cut the wrestler or put stage blood on him. However, if you watch wrestlers today like Sandman or the steel cage matches and Hell in a Cell matches you can tell that those instances are real. For instance Sandman often causes himself to bleed with the singapore cane. And does it right on camera. As for a steel cage match there is no oppurtunity to sneak someone in or out of the ring. And with todays rabid fans (I am one of them.) you would get booed out of the arena if you tried that today. Obviously when guys like Hogan and others wrestled in their prime it was easier to pull that because the crowd was more subdued. I would say that it is similar to the evolution of the gladiator games in Rome. Originally they started out as funeral games for important citizens who had died. The fights were considered solemn occasions and both fighters were given respect. Then as the legions began to conquer territory throughout Italy they would sometimes have captured enemy troops fight to the death for the amusement of the legionares. Then men like Ceasar used the games to show off the prisoners in Rome to the crowds and the custom stuck. Originally when Rome was a Republic any wealthy nobleman could sponser a spectacle and was in fact expected to. After the transiton to an empire the games began to be sponsored by the emperor as a way of keeping the masses happy. As time went on the games became bloodier and more violent but were still scripted up to a point. For instance the fights themselves were often real but they were often organised as reenactments of Romes previous conquests. The games organisor would simply put his best trained troops in the role of the Romans and his worst trained in the role of the various peoples the Romans had conquered.

The ones in the mouth are fake most of the time and some on the bodies are real.. No i dont think they would actually put them off camera and cut them, is that possible when most of the time WWE Monday Night Raw is live and Friday Night SmackDown!?

Back in the 80's I really believe that when someone was thrown from the ring they would pull a razor blade from under the ring, acting like they were hurt and all, cut themselves and come up with a bleeding face, happened all the time. Hogan, Dusty Rhodes, Greg Valentine, Ric Flair, they were all geniouses at this.

Yeah they do that sometimes, In the profession they call in blading:

Although it does sometimes go wrong, Eddie Guerrero had a match were another wrestler cut him to deep in the fore head and he lost a lot of blood and had to go hospital.
The most famous blading accident in my opinion would be the mass transit incident: Read this

The suits are scripted which ability who will do what and that and who will win and lose. The wrestling strikes they do interior the ring without utilising weapons is surprisingly a lot comparable to WWE and TNA. whilst it includes weapons i think of its actual and blood they only blade or in simple terms use easy tubes and sh*t. CZW is a shaggy dog tale. ECW is extra suited. previous ECW>CZW

Yes sometimes they do it to themselves too. But if the Big Show gets cut it is real because he does not cut himself.

They use blades, hidden in their wristbands. They push them out and cut themselves and then push them back in.
