pills work to suppress your appetite or to temporarilly boost your metabolism. Long term they are probably not a good idea. You know that the only way to lose weight is to eat the right amount to meet your energy needs and to be physically active. Everything else is just a reason to help you part with your money

Pills aren't the way to go. It needs to be a lifestyle change, eating healthily and regular exercise, otherwise the weight will go straight back on when you go back to you old ways. You dont have to be pumping iron in the gym every day, a bit of walking (get a pedometer and aim for 10,000 steps a day, its not that much it soon adds up!) maybe find another sport you enjoy. If you lose weight without exercising you tend to lose muscle more than fat, and end up with an untoned slightly flabby look. find out how many calories you should be eating to lose weight (try the link below for this) and try to stick to it by reading the nutrition info on the packets. Give yourself enough time, quick fixes never work in the long run!

Do not take diet pills, most of them have serious side effects and as soon as you stop taking them then you'll regain the weight and possibly more too. Bad idea! There are enzymes that break down fat in your meals if you take them half an hour before eating, but I don't know if they work or how safe they are.
Instead eat low-calorie filling stuff e.g. soups, beans, more vegetables etc. Use low-fat spread instead of butter, avoid creamy salad dressings and deep fried food. Use less oil when cooking by using a cooking spray. Buy low-calorie alternatives to your normal food (e.g. cheese and yoghurt) and reduce you're salt intake so you'll lose some water weight. Also drink a glass of cold water just before each meal to make you feel more full. Cut out fizzy drinks and drink cold water as your body will burn more calories by having to heat the water to body temperature. Eat small meals or snacks every 3 hours so your metabolism doesn't slow down. Porridge for breakfast (if you can handle it without sugar on top). Eat smaller portions of carbohydrates (rice, pasta, potatoes). If you give in to temptation at the supermarket, bring someone with you to stop you buying junk or get someone to do your shopping for you. You might want to try watching "You are what you eat", that'll put you off processed food for a while...

pills don't work. if there were a magic pill that could allow you to lose weight while doing nothing, don't you think everyone would use it?
since you don't want to go to the gym (not judging it's understandable, but pls reconsider), try making gradual changes to your routines. flip to diet soda instead of regular soda. if you have done that already, try removing diet soda entirely from your diet. even though it's zero calories, i read a study that says the sweetness of the diet drink tricks your brain into wanting more calories to make up for getting the sweetness without the calories.
whenever you have the opportunity, take the stairs instead of the escalator or elevator.
if you drive a lot, park farther away than closer.
eat smaller meals more often, and do not eat late at night.
if you're eating at home, do some simple things like 1-2 minutes of jumping jacks before a meal.
jog in place for 3-5 minutes when you first wake up in the morning, this shocks yours system into waking up and kicks starts your metabolism.

That is not very safe. However if you don't mind eating things you should try having Ispaghol in water everyday as soon as you wake up. One table spoon is enough for a glass. You could try natural remedies such as warm water with lemon and honey and green tea. You can't lose weight without exercise . Maybe just run up and down stairs or try walking instead of driving somewhere. You should also try to join a sport. cricket is big in India .Maybe you could do that!

If you don't want to go to a gym how about walking or cycling more, and working that into your daily routine like walking or cycling to work and then when you're hungry going for healthy alternatives like a banana or other fruit. Banana's are good because they are quite filling and obviously good for you. I'm not so sure about the pills option, one they probably won't be v.effective but if they are then they're probably harmful.

eat, just healthier, stop going to Mcdonalds go to.. a vegetable farm lol. DONT eat salad (the leaves are good for you, but the far in the salad is terrible) On average you need about 2,000 calleries a day. A regular plate of salad has about 3,000. If you get salad buy some far free salad. not (trans fat free) lol why am i talking about salad?

The best way to lose weight is to exercise and keep on eating normally.
But since you're ruling out exercise and eating less I'm afraid that you're doomed to be a fat monkey forever...
