Master any technology such that if there will be 100 of people then it should confirm that you only get this job. Don't confuse in choosing feilds this or that,master yourself such an organization feel proud when they take interview.Testing and Java both are good but, Java has wider applications than Testing. Java is too vast if you have capabilty to cover all the portion than go for java.
