You could try Limewire.
On a separate note, try out this website, www.allofmp3.com (fully legal). A song will, at the most, charge you 10 cents (U.S.). Moreover, you will have absolute ownership of the file, you could transcode it, burn onto a cd or copy it into any mp3-player or play it on a different computer, in other words: no DRM. You could also choose file format e.g. mp3, mp4 or wma and the price of the song will be based upon the quality you would choose.

Guys & Gals out there, I REALLY SUGGEST
THAT YOU DON'T USE (LIMEWIRE) too
many spams, too many ads and last Vicious
Spyware and the worst one is VIRUSES! Be
very careful, if you don't have the best Firewall
protection or the top of the line Virus protection
& Spyware than I seriously suggest you guys &
Gals NOT TO DOWNLOAD FROM (LIMEWIRE).
Someone recommended Limewire and I try it, yes
is easy to find and get music but too many rules
and Tons of spyware and Viruses.
So be careful guys out there, I use them a few
times and it crash my computer and I lost all my
musik files. Files I had for years & years and
some was very hard to get. I have no suggestion
for a sight where you can get free musik download

well limewire is a good software to use

and last but not least my fav.imo is a torrent file downloader
i'll explain.
though you got to have windows XP to use it.
go to http://www.bitcomet.com and follow directions on how to use it & some other basics and download and install on computer
then get used to a bit and got to http://www.torrentspy.com and search and artist you like and it will come up with the album of theirs to dowload.... but i recommend using the site....
http://www.isohunt.com as the site you look for things on... but you got have bitcomet first in order to use those sites
you can also find other cool things on there like Books, albums, games, software, videos.... u name it!! it more than likely has it
