it is highly unlikely that you are pegnant , as you would not be ovulating during a period. if you had sex again, about 2 weeks later , there might be a chance.

some women do spot at the beginning of a pregnancy, but it can also be brought on by stress.

Dont worry too much as it is very unlikely that you will get pregnant whilst you are on your period, as you are not ovulating at this time. Being on the pill 6 months ago, can mess up your periods, so yes it can cause spotting. How late is your period? Do you have a regular cycle? I think that home pregnancy tests are quite accurate, but if your period doesnt come in the next couple of days or so I would go and see the doctor just to be on the safe side, although, like I said, its highly unlikely that you could fertilise an egg at the time of menses. Good luck xxxxxx

Yes, you can get spotting from going off the pill. Home pregnancy tests are not accurate early on. Do you have symptoms? If you feel ok, and have just had spotting, there is no need for alarm yet. If you don't get your period soon, go to the doctor and they can give you a blood test, and that will tell them for sure. Pulling out before ejaculation doesn't mean anything...there are pre-ejaculatory fluids that come out as well, and he wouldn't even feel it. That right there can get you pregnant as well. Be smart, practice safe sex-get back on birth control. Good luck!

pregnancy tests arent 100% reliable u could take ten and they still wouldnt be a true result. the drs have better tests and more reliable. why didnt u take the morning after pill - nothing is ever reliable - even these are not 100% but better than just leaving it. u could have seen your dr or practice nurse who could have prescribed it for u otherwise u can buy over the counter for about £20. not sure what the spotting is maybe because u were on your period and that u r late and everything has messed up the dates etc., u have your own reasons for coming off the pilll so not going to preach to u. just be careful in future. u can still get pregnant when on your period. why dont u go to the doctor to put your mind at rest

at first i have to ask you not to panic, as this what you will read here is from medical book, and even though you might assume you are pregnant you might be not.
just read it and try do not worry.

withdrawal method(pulling out before ejaculation) is known not to be effective, as 90% of pairs useing this method fall pregnat witin one year of using this method, reason is that before ejaculation on the top of male penis apears a little or sperm (can appear even twice before ejaculation) and this little amount of sperm is enough to impregnate woman, other thing is that if sperm would fall on the vagina or near it, sperm as a "great swimmers" would be able to get to the point and impregnate woman.

when it comes to home tests it does not work often good, if you are in doubt i would recommend you to visit gynecologist and ask him/her to do test.

alhtouth test might be right, but i would recommend you to do second one,

when it comes to spotting, (if you mean spotting by spots that teens have during puberty( than spots appear most often when there are hormonal chenges what might suggest that it migh be be reaction on the pill by meaining that your body is cleaing itself from pill effects, but changes in hormones also appear when woman gets pregnant.

As you used pill you should have gyn, already, as every woman at the age of 18 or since she started sex life (if started before 18) should have pap tests once a year.

if it would come out that you are pregnant talk to your gyn about possible way, if you would decide to get abortion (if you are young it would be better as having kids in the young age is end of life in some way, unless you have rich parents.

anyway all is up to you

good luck :)

Chances are very slim if you had sex whilst on your period that you are pregnant. It is more likely that the worry is causing you to be late.

A false negative will show up if you have had sex within four days of the test.

You should be fine

hey people. the pregnancy tests the doctors use are the same ones you can buy yourself at the store. they just charge you way more for them to look at it.

The chances that you are pregnant are remote.
Home pregnancy tests aren't very reliable.
The best thing to do would be to see your OBG.

You should see your doctor. Some tests are faulty so try another one but still, get to a doctor.
