I'm getting married in less than a month and I'm allergic to latex condoms... so I'm thinking about trying polyurethane condoms... but I don't know too much about them. I have read up on them online but I was curious to see if anyone could give me first hand advice on them or had useful info on them that isn't in the blurbs on condom buying websites..

I did find this statistic "Over six months, couples using polyurethane condoms had a 9% chance of getting pregnant. Those using latex condoms had a 5.4% pregnancy risk."...

Being that I'm allergic to latex, have less than a month before I need the birth control method to kick in (the pill wouldn't work..), and I'm a little hesitant to use more non-natural methods (like the shot or something) because I do want to have kids later in life and I wouldn't want it to mess anything up somehow (my sister had 15 miscarriages and mother 3 so I already will be working against genetics when the time comes.) does this seem like the best option?

Just bone desnity loss? oh man... I don't know if I could afford that! My bones are VERY thin and fragile to begin with.. My wedding ring is a size 3½.. ha. I'll ask my doctor about it... The fact that it hasn't been around too too long makes me a little nervous.. cause we don't yet know if there are lasting side effects of that sort of thing.. like in the older years.. etc. I'm trying to go more natural if possible but i'll check it out.

Anyone else?

You can try them, but condoms aren't that reliable to begin with. Non latex ones are porous, and it's very easy for fluids to pass through. The shot is 99% effective, the only thing is, give yourself about 1 year after going off it before you expect to get pregnant. I've been on it for years, the only side effect is bone density loss. This can be easily controlled if you take calcium supplements. Good luck!

i found out that my GF is allergic to latex so we had to end applying them. I went out and offered the Trojan lamb pores and skin ones, the only element approximately them is they do no longer look after against STDs and that i've got self belief that's with the help of them no longer being latex. the only element that me and my GF did do is the two get examined so we've much less to concern approximately as far as STDs are in contact. yet on the comparable time, human beings could have trusting relationship for this to effectively artwork. tell your BF to no longer be hesitant. You the two could get examined possibly which will make him fell greater perfect.
