To hell with war, just nuke their asses. As bad as it was, what happened in 1945 bought us about 50 years of peace. It's time we showed the world...AGAIN...who the damn boss is. Bin Laden HIMSELF said that the lack of resolve of the American people is what motivated the 9/11 attacks. Where the hell did our backbone go? Are we just going to sit here and wait for another attack? Let's kill the "roaches". Destroy their will, take away their homes, their families, their ability to coordinate attacks, their reason to live. What say you?

There are no "innocents" in times of war. The "innocents" will grow up to hate us, and they themselves will want to kill us. When you poison an ant bed, do you pull out the babies?

You BOMB the damn countries that fund the "JIHAD"! Without money it's hard to function as a threat.

Hey, I'm with you on this one! I'm tired of the people who seem to forget what's going on. Maybe the crap that happened today will change some minds but I doubt it. They're already griping at the airports about how "annoying" it is having to throw away their liquid stuff but those are the very people that would say something should have been done...I hope you follow me on this.
I aree with you 100%!!!!! GET THE ONES ON AMERICAN SOIL BACK OVER THERE WHERE THEY BELONG AND THEN NUKE 'EM

I say somebody completely forgot about Korea and Vietnam. Not to mention Somalia, The Iran-Contra scandal... hell, if there's been a war, we've been involved. It's easy for the people of the Middle East to only see the rich, vacationing idiot Americans, who expect to be able to travel the world without learning any other languages, and mistreat everyone as their 'servants'... But the thing no one wants to see is the basis of the American Idealism, that we will protect the weak, empower the noble, and eradicate the racists (Although, we've somehow missed that in our own country).

Maybe we come off as the powerful idiots, but that's because it's what everybody WANTS to see. Everybody's looking for someone to hate, and Americans will be the next 1940s Jews. Mark my words. The only difference, is that NOBODY'S going to kill 6,000,000 Americans.

Added: It just occured to me that I ranted and raved, and never answered your question.

We're doing all we can to find Bin Laden. We'd like nothing more than to turn that area into a multi-national glass parking lot, but any president that does that commits political suicide. They're always about themselves, anyway.

And, when it comes down to it, Bin Laden hasn't been found, has he? Do you know why? It's because he's in the United States. He was here coordinating the 9/11 attacks. Video-conferencing has done wonders for businesses, why not for terrorists? What makes everyone think we're competing against cavemen here?

Anyone with a few bucks can buy any technology they like, all they need is an internet connection. Does the government seriously think Bin Laden couldn't scrounge enough money to get on the internet in 2001? He put people through pilot school, to achieve the impossible (and you can bet they got a fair giggle out of their achievements), and yet the government still thinks he's living in a cave?

I'm gonna find that motherf*cker in my backyard someday, and I'll take care of him myself. I (or somebody like me) will videotape his torture and execution, without the government's knowledge, and put it on the Internet.

The government is too noble to break the will of his followers, by making them puke their guts out watching their leader bleed. It's up to some twisted assh*le like myself to take things into his own hands, figure out where this assh*le is hiding, and do him right.

So, if you were Bin Laden, where would you hide? I could use some ideas.

I would love to see the end to Islamic Fundamentalist terrorists but it is too late for the atom bomb.

In WWII, we did not have to worry about nuclear retaliation. The world is quite different now and I do not doubt that Iran, North Korea and other anti-American countries would not hesitate to fire their weapons at the USA and/or Israel in retaliation.

Furthermore, the Atom Bomb would kill too many innocent people who just want to live peaceful lives.

In the late 1970's and early 1980's there were several Americans who were kidnapped in Lebanon. At the same time, there was only one Russian kidnapped and he was released within a week. Why? Because the KGB captured a relative of a kidnapper and sent his chopped and diced body back to the family with a note: "Do you really want to F**K with Russia?"

We need to authorize our CIA to conduct more assignations and send a clear message, not only to the terrorists, but to those who fund and supply the terrorists, that they are going to pay an extremely high price if they continue in their ways.

I wish that the Atom Bomb was the answer but I do not believe that it is.

america. Democratic prestige. substitute into the source of the debate at Valley Forge. The founding fathers have been democratic. the folk who needed a republic very virtually starved the finished American military out to coach their element. Then it substitute into set up as a democracy for the folk and Thomas Jefferson ended up speaking plenty approximately it. Then those losers called the puratins got here in, representing the republic (huge agencies). They fought for terribly virtually one hundred years to opposite the form and each and all of the equivalent rights stuff. Now you spot it, they nonetheless attempt to make it a nazi or king james state. yet maximum of what they have achieved is public. because of the fact of their joker mentality, now many extensive financial industry based entities have greater skill then human beings and surely contradict what u . s . of america stands for. u . s . of america is meant to be a democracy, yet because of the corrupt idiots who took unrestrained movements. some issues like the federal government. even however they're an company. As a ruling physique. that is purely a mish mash of superb human beings and grimy people who help company over human beings.

Unfortunately there is BIG FAT difference between the military attacks of the Japanese and the religious crusades of Islamic extremists. You'd have to kill them all, all over the world all at once. In WWII we were dealing with a somewhat of a reasonable government, here we are not.

I get what you are saying. I figure nuke em and build a Disneyland but sadly it would stop the problem

I think our technology has progressed to the point that we no longer need to send soldiers in to the battlefield. Though I am not yet ready to "nuke" entire cities...I think the planes and the missles can do all the talking that needs to be done. Maybe it is time to change the face of the war for America. Who cares if the enemy calls us cowards. At least we won't be loosing any more troops to suicide bombers. Bomb them into submission!

Times have changed since 1945. When the first atomic bomb was dropped on Japan no one was quite sure what the consequences would be. They were shocked to learn just how devastating the detonation of a nuclear bomb was. We now know just how devastating nuclear warfare is. We know that it can cripple the enemy with minimal casualties on our side, but think of all the innocent lives that will be affected. Is it morally just to destroy the lives of hundreds of thousands of children for generations to come? Is it worth it?

If you mean nuke the southern baptist convention people, along with Pat Robertson and Jerry Falwell and all those sorts of idiot fundamentalists.... I say HELL YEAH!!!
If you mean nuking the middle east, thats a bit problematic, because not all of them deserve it, and it would seriously screw up the world oil supply and cause an economic depression.

Good thing your finger is not on the button Brian, you have turned into a mad man. You sound like a KKK grand dragon waiting to lynch a man, only here your talking about almost a quarter of earths population. And if you're this easily blinded what would stop you from taking out even more people later.
