Charger, Cuda, Challenger, Camaro, hell even an AMX is pretty pricey
I really like the 1966 AND 1967 Olds Toronado, and almost as much the Riviera, but does anyone have another suggestion? something a little unique

Don't ask me why, but for some unknown reason (to me), the 1972 Corvette seems to have not as much value as other muscle cars. I saw one in absolutely pristine condition go for only $27,000 at the Barrett-Jackson Automobile Auction just recently, when others of different years were going for at least 60K and upwards. The commentators said that for some reason the styling was "different", and for that reason it didn't command the higher prices. Personally, I think it's a great looking car, and if you can find one at a reasonable price I think you'd be a lucky owner. An example is at the below link. Good luck!

a Ford Maverick Grabber, a Datsun 240Z, a Plymouth Duster, Dodge Dart Swinger, Dodge Demon, Oldsmobile Cutlass. Hope this helps. I can probably think of a few more later. Oh, and parts are an issue too. Parts for European makes are expensive. And learn how to tune a carburateur.

One of the best car ever made was the Shelby Mustang GT350. It's a very rare car so you won't find it under 40.000$.
