tell your friends that if they can't respect your wishes in this, they are not truly your friends, and start ignoring them. if that doesn't do it, then they are really not your friends, and you need to find better people to hang out with.

you need to take a step back and just breathe.... your friends are still all over this because they can still get a reaction from you and yes it is pushing that guy away from you. He probably doesn't want to have to deal with your friends any more then he has to. Plus he might think that you are wanting them to do these things for you. You need to turn this around, first you need to ask your friends collectively if they themselves have a crush on this guy and if they answer no then you can ask them why would they freak this guy out and sabotage your chances in being with him. At school when you see him you need to play it real cool, let all this drama die down for a while before you even think about calling or texting him again. If you play it cool and your friends are respectful enough to stop doing this to you... then you might have a shot at going a little further with this guy. Good luck

Here's a good opportunity for you to apologize to him and ask him how you can make it up to him. But that's kind of hard to do if he won't even talk to you. I think if your friends cause that much interference in your life, it's time to ditch them.

Stop texting and calling. That coupled with your friends juvenile behavior probably makes him think you are a stalker.

although it might not seem like it your freinds have helped u, when u go back to school apologise to him about your freinds behaviour, and see how he reacts. I was once in that situation but I ignored the girl for a while coz i didnt knw what to say to her but i did like her though. wen she came to talk to me herself thats wen i told her the truth that i did like her.
hope things work out for you

just make yourself clear to that boy whom you like that your friends are unnecessarily blowing up things out of proportion and you are only his true friend thats all. also tell him that he should not get disturbed by what others do. you both concentrate in your studies and excel in what you are pursuing. discontinue those friends who are not really worth it.

i'd say do not concentrate your efforts on changing your friends' behaveour. . the more they'll see you bothered the more they will keep it up..
why don't you approach the boy instead.??..since you like him..
