Has our patience finally paid off? Has this long dry spell ended? I remember the roar of '84 AND the '67 Series. Anybody else out there?

I barely remember '84.

My dad took me to game 5 of the WS, and I remember everyone being all happy and everything.

Yes, I think our patience is paying off.

If they win only the Central Division, and go no further I'd be as pleased as punch.

But I think they may surprize all and actually win the World Series.

But whatever happens, I am in total shock of what they have done so far.

In the beginning of the year, I told myself if they won 80-82 games I would be excited and happy.

It looks as if we may get our 81st win before September!

I wasn't around in 67 but I was around in the eighties and I could have sworn that it was 85 or 86 that they won last, anyways I watched them kick the pants off of the brewers a couple of months back, it was great I think they won like 10 to 1, I hope they win the world series this year, it would be nice
