I have always been attracted to feminine women and men who weren't too masculan. I have never been able to tell which women also like women, and am afraid of the rejection if they're not. Why is it so hard to find them in Iowa?

No, there are actually some cool towns here, Des Moines, Iowa City, Ames... so there are open towns here, I just have a hard time making myself open to people.

Is there a gay center, hot line, or bar, or college around? See if there are any groups around. You might meet someone special. If you live out in the country you're going to have a hard time. If you're on your own, it might be an advantage to move closer to a larger city
