You could do something about the housing market in a specific region, and weather there is a bubble or not.
The effects of an increase in interest rates on a specific part of the economy.
The effects of a raise in minnimum wage.
Predictions on the effects of an increase of gas prices on the ecconomy.
Any of these seem good although they may be broad.
