Speaking as someone in the UK media...
...yes, there have been a number of screwups lately, but this looks very much like the real deal. In particular the properties in Birmingham and some surrounding woods are holding particular interest for the UK's baby Grissoms and lots of guys in white CSI suits running around.
Of course, if it's a screwup (and it's more likely to be a royally grand screwup than a conspiracy - governments are nowhere near smart, talented or resourceful enough to pull off some of the stuff that Rense fans believe they can), then an awful lot of folks are going to be very justifiably angry.
Finally, the reason why you haven't heard much about the closed UK plots is that either they're awaiting trial or the trial has been D-Noticed (ie: we can't report on it. This might seem like restriction on freedom of the press - but it's actually to assure a fair trial, since jurors won't be affected by media speculation. And to be honest a hell of a lot of what's been written, printed or TX'd in the last 24 hours is guesswork.)

Both.
The rightwing-nuts will use it to say that they have been doing the right thing- whatever that could possibly be,
and I think that since that is what al quida and all the other Islamic terrorists want.
Bush has been so good for them, look at how they much have increased in size and power since Bush has become the "war" president.
Bush/Rove are even now racheting up the fear and trying to make this into a war of annihiIation, of the muslim world.

Our anger won't in any respect be expressed with violence.. yet you will see it on the pollbox. The day Obamacare surpassed replaced into the day Democrats misplaced the subsequent election

The Israeli atrocities are off the front page now, they in turn took the Iraqi shambles off,so now we have this crap. How convenient for Bush & Blair.I don't believe ANYTHING those 2 bas***ds say.The Pakistanis arrested 2 or 3 people, they probably 'confessed' to anything they were told to 'confess'to.You would say anything to end the torture.I expect most,if not all,the people arrested in the uk to be released without charge.

This one at least involved 20+ real bodies.
But like you I wonder about the previous scares. They normally happen just as the government is trying to avoid a crisis elsewhere, although at the moment they'd need a scare a day to achieve this.

Too cynical for me.
London Bombers died in the incident...but perhaps that is all just a hoax. Actually victims like the rest. The entire thing was caused by the CIA.......no, no,.... the Zionest movement with support from Tony Blair....No, no, no, Jacque's and the French, to cover up their support of American Policy. Those weasels.....or ......or......Fidel, that rat bastard!, with the help of Richard Nixon, who faked his death or was that JFK...AHHH! all the same those capitalist swine.
Who knows where evil lurks?

Real deal. And what do you suppose they do with these people? First most are suicide bombers so they sweep the successful ones up with a broom. The others such as the one 911 terrorist that did get caught before he could help has been convicted in court. Watch the news

it may be real but it is another pr stunt by blairs mob to pat themselves on the back. coincidently how many cops does it take to arrest 2 young men or how many bullets does it take to incapacitate a suspect sitting on a tube train. the met or whoever need a good bit of publicity after the recent balls ups they've made

Yet another diversion while Blair is on holiday and more repressive measures preparing us for a dictatorship under American control.
By the way where is the deputy prime minister?

No this is the real deal. I've got plenty of friends in the military and law enforcement at various levels. A great tragedy was averted. I am grateful.
