I did not marry the man I lost my viginity to but I am glad that it was him because at the time we were very much in love with eachother and I feel I made the right choice. We just happened to grow apart but we are still friends. I think it is quite realistic to be in love with the person years later. And it is not impossible to hook back up and get married.

My husband and I lost our virginity to each other on our wedding night. It was a relief to know there were no diseases, no previoius partners lurking in the other's memory, etc. We have been married only 18 months, so I don't know about our longevity with that love, but it is looking good so far. However, my parents lost their virginity to each other in 1969, married in 1971, are still married, and have been monogomous their whole lives. They are still in love and are counting the days until when my youngest sister moves out and they can chase each other around the house at any time of day or night. It may take some viagra at that point, but they are still happy and love each other.

I am married to the man whom I lost my virginity, I thought he would not communicate to me anymore after he left for abroad because he already got what he wanted, but he did. He came back and asked me to marry him. Right now we are married for 4 years and have two kids a boy and a girl. Happily married actually.

Most people don't marry the first person with whom they had sex. Sex is sex and much different than true and lasting love. I don't even remember the first person I had sex with, so that shows you how important it was - not!
