If American Blacks and Whites are equal, why don't we see inter-marriages? Or: blacks only as a cannon fodder?

Actually inter-racial marriage is a threat to blacks, or other minority races. Let's apply some logical thinking and mathematics. If blacks make up about 12 - 15% of the US population, and all other races comprise the balance, 85 - 88%; for blacks to marry outside of their race, they are 'diluting' their natural gene pool. If carried on long enough and to an extent to where too many black blood lines are involved, their race could and will, cease to exist as it is currently known today.

A similar scenario and concern has been going on with 'native Hawaiians' now for a number of years. With a small minority population co-exisiting within a much larger majority population, the minority race must remain true to it's bloodline or face a slow degradation until possible extinction.

The influence upon the majority race may be noticed but again, the mathematic principles say the effects will be much less noticable than on the minority race. It's a function of the relative disparity of the two populations.

If blacks were indeed 'proud' of their heritage and savey about the long term future of their race, they would not pro-create with outsiders.

Actually, my Mom is white and my Dad is black. There are inter-racial marriages, but there are still huge disparities between blacks and whites.
