What is natural? If you mean, was it a part of the first ball of elements that congealed into the molten earth, then maybe. There was probably iron in the universe by the time the earth started forming 5 billion years ago, since stars had been expoding out heavy elements for billions of years.

But it very likely that the earth was bombared by a LOT of materials that contained iron, water, and other elements as well.

Yes. You are incorrect about the meteor thing, though. Iron is as far up the Periodic Table that a star of moderate mass can fuse elements. Then it explodes, leaving a lot of iron in a molecular cloud spanning light years that condenses to form a new sun and planets rich in such material. Our earth and sun are the results of an even bigger explosion, a supernova. That is, we are the product of a very massive star that was able to fuse even heavier elements, such as gold, before it went supernova. How do we know this? Simple. We can find gold on our planet.

The Earth has lots of iron. In fact our core is made up almost entirely of iron! However, iron and most other heavy elements in the universe were originally created in stars! When the stars exploded in supernovas those elements were scattered across space.

Iron is an element. It is abundant on our planet. Some metors have iron, but we have plenty of it without them. Some say the earth's core is largely molten iron.
