Many audio softwares out there can do this. One of them is called Audacity, you can search it on sourceforge.net. It's free and 100% legal, and works really well. Chances are you will have to completely delete the left, or right channel of the audio, only leaving one of them. Poke around in the help files, it'll tell you exactly how to do this. If you simple load a stereo file, and when you save it you change the options to mono, it'll convert it then and there.

stereo sounds much better. but if u wana convert it, just use a audio convertor.
