a white skirt with a pink top would be cute. also you should add like a white headband and pink sandals. that would be a cute outfit for your baby girl. there really isnt any 1st pic rule. as long as your baby looks ADORABLE and SMILES!!

You can dress your baby in whatever cute outfit you would like her to be in. There is no "rule" of having the first pictures taken in a dress. Best of luck with your little one, and every picture will bring back a precious memory!! Good night and God bless you both!!

I say dress your baby in whatever you want. I don't recall a first pic rule. Do what you want to do. If think your child will just as cute then go for it.

I didn't know there was a rule as to putting your baby in a dress for first pictures. My daughter wore a really cute satin pant outfit (she was born in the winter months). Personally, it is your baby and who really cares what anyone else has to say about it?

Just stick with pinks and purples...it doesn't have to be a dress. When they are this young you can't put them in colors that aren't gender related in pictures unless they really look feminine (which isn't likely). My son was so beautiful that if he wasn't dressed like a boy I would get the "she's so beautiful" comments. I could still pass him off as a girl. I always look at the color of the clothes when they are infants to figure it out.

I don't think there's any hard and fast rule about dressing your baby for pictures. Whatever you want to put them in (just as long as it's clean and not torn/ripped) should be fine. People won't be looking at your daughter's outfit...they'll be looking at her sweet, chubby little face!

I never knew there was a rule...I would dress her in the outfit you really want her to wear. I'm sure she'll look beautiful in whatever you choose.

i havent heard of this first pic rule. what your baby looks like in her fist pic shouldn't matter, what matters is that your baby feels comfortable in what shes wearing for she might not smile when the photographer says...cheese! you dont want to see her in her first pic frowning, do you?

You can dress her in whatever you want, she is your baby.I would just put her in something pink & girly.I love matching outfits-top,bottoms,socks,shoes,headband.I love Gymboree as they have adorable matching outfits. That is all my daughter wears is gymboree brand clothing.
