If you're gonna stay with him, then tell him you're not going to stand for it any longer. DO NOT back down. It's either your way or the highway!
You deserve to be free to make your own decisions and not have to worry about what he's gonna do to you.
He's afraid of losing you so you have to explain that if he keeps it up, he really is going to lose you FOR GOOD. If he still keeps smothering you, leave.
Don't let him talk you into coming back. He'll just think he can control you again and it will be worse than it is now.
And, girl, if he hits you, you better hit him back harder!!!! Don't be afraid. That's what he wants!

You should work on communicating with your husband and let him know that you're an adult and that you need the chance to make your own decisions (and breath). If your husband does not understand this when you bring it up you can go to a marriage counsellor, other than that, you can always leave him.

Poison him.
Get him drunk and passed out, place a 5 gallon bucket over his head and blast him with a 12 ga. shotgun.
Throw a toaster in the shower with him
Change out his coffee cream with Rid-X
Put anti-freeze in his lemonade or Mountain Dew
Cut the brakes on his truck

You have to communicate with him and tell him this. And stand up for your self and not let him have all the power. Why'' can't you do something? He seems abit insecure. Maybe he can't controll things in his life so he controlls you.

If you want help, we need more details. Did this just start after you got married? How long have you been married? Strict about what...friends...money...housework...kids...what? Does he have reason to be distrustful? You gotta work with us here, babe.

honey..i feel your pain..i have only been married for 2 months and my husband wont let me do anything...he gets mad when i spend money...not to brag, but its not like we are lacking money..ya know. he wont let me go to my friends house or anything..it is so stupid! talk to him about it...go to counseling..or if none of that works..DIVORCE...i dont know how much more i can take of it myself...if you want you can email me
