that would be really slow because the darkness doesn't come until the sun sets. The speed of light is named that because when you turn on a flashlight the light is all ready there and it doesn't take any time for it to get to the end of the wall and all that. But if you turn off a light in a room the speed of dark is the same as the speed of light.

Dark doesn't have a speed. It is simply the absence of light. But, if you're wondering how long until darkness, then it's the speed of light, since it only gets dark once light leaves, and light moves at the speed of light.

i would actually say that the speed of darkness is faster than the speed of light. My reasoning behind this is in the presence of a black hole, light can't even escape it, but darkness is still present. Kinda Crazy, but totally believable.

practically sound and light are measured in terms so we know their speed which is not in the case of dark
subjectively, as light goes dark happens so you can say it comes in the same speed as with which light moves away

In our very lack of perception, it is equal, but in the scientific terms, darkness is the beginning point to measure light. So the darkness point would be zero. The speed of light can be broken, but that's on another question on Yahoo Answers, I don't want to bore you.

The same as the speed of light.
If you turn off the light source, it gets dark at a distance at the same speed as when you turn on the light.

It is the same as the speed of light.
Look at it this way, dark moves in at the speed at which light moves out, so..
