what`s the difference between infinity & eternity. which do you prefer from both?

Infinity means it goes on forever - never ending and eternity means until the end of time whenever that is - lol. I prefer eternity although I wouldn't want to live for eternity I'm quite happy to take whatever fate has in store for me and one thing I know is I won't live for eternity.

Eternity refers to an infinate ammount of time. Infinity could be described as an endlessly high number but it is NOT a number. The oposite to Infinate is Finite, finite relates to having a measurable value or number.

You can calculate infinity by deviding any number by 0. Its allot more interesting if you do this in your head and think about the conciquences of the calculation. No computer will let you do it, its bulit into the operateing system as it would lock up the computer were to allowed to calculate it.

Infinity is used generally to refer to either space never ending or mathematically as a number with no end (Pi for example)
Eternity is a reference to time unending. Someone might point out that Infinity refers to time as well since space and time are considered to be intertwined by physicists... but semantically most humans dont recognize this and so we use Infinity for space and Eternity for time. I dont see that one is preferable to the other since they really dont both refer to the same thing.

They are abstractly the same thing. However, to be understood easier, you might say infinity can deal with time and distance. On the other hand, it's hard to define distance with eternity. As far as the preference, I don't know how you would pick one over the other.
