You can start by writing GRE and TOEFL,Based on your academics in your U.G. and the scores in GRE and TOEFL you can apply to universities. There are no such called short term courses, you must study 2 years in U.S.to gain Masters degree. With 4 years experience in electronics field you will surely get admission from good schools with aid.So what are you waitin for go n register for your GRE and TOEFL.

I think the only way to study in the US on short terms is through a school where you are from. They send you over here for a short period called a "semester."

However, there are many ways to study here otherwise. Go to http://www.edupass.org/

You should look for a school with an electrical engineer degree and contact them. Tell them you are an international student and they will send you the things you need to apply.
