i'm looking for fellow jim morrison fans. true morrison fans. i feel that the appeal of jim has taken over a lot of what he truly stood for nowadays. so anways, if you're a fan of jim, i'm curious as to what you're favorite thing about him is, whether its lyrical, biographical...etc etc. anything that adds to the legacy. or just what draws you to him. i'd love to talk with some fans of his, so emailing is an option too.

The dude was fearless, ate any drug, got busy with any chic, etc. Not to mention that he was one of the better poets of the 60's, a cultural icon, and was the frontman of one of the coolest and musically advanced rock groups of it's era.
He died too early of stupidity and hubris.

I somewhat have been a extensive fan by using fact the age of fourteen (er, thirty years in the past). i could say that he replaced into extra of an alcoholic than a drug addict (his spouse replaced right into a drug addict, and he hated that), yet what has continuously bothered me is that he replaced into slightly a racist. i admire maximum of his writings, despite the fact that some have been in simple terms ok. I choose his songs, by using fact the melodies he placed them to, lead them to that rather extra suited.
