Whether you use liquid or powder doesn't matter, but (sorry to contradict earlier responder) you are supposed to use less detergent in the FRONT loaders.

yep just not the other way round as top loader powder will foam too much

It won't hurt anything. It is just a cleaning powder. However, top loaders agitate more, so use a smaller amount of cleaner.

You should be using what is recommended for your washing machine. It maybe cheaper shoort term, but you maybe stuffing up your washing machine which costs hundreds to replace, and not to mention your clothes.

yeah, it may make a slight difforence in the amount of boubles etc. but it wont hurt anything. try it and the worst case is something doesnt go how it should and the floor gets a bit wet, no permenant damage
