It doesn't matter about the degree of education a person has as we can all make mistakes even with the highest level of education just look at the politicians of the world and a lot of government workers and they are supposed to be the highest educated people in the world cause we put them into a position of power. So how under educated are we all.As for education and marriage then that would be up to the 2 people who are hgetting married.

What matters is that you guys share a common love for each other. Will either of your intellectual levels hinder the other's lifestyle/work relations/etc? If not, it is okay.
Let's say he is a doctor and you are a homemaker. He invites you to attend dinner with his colleages. He feels totally comfortable and in his element, but you. You feel like your English won't be good enough because you barely been speaking the language for five years and know it can be better. Still you try to be convivial and chat your way with the wives through dinner.
On the way home, your husband asked if you had a good time, and in your mind you were just glad it was over with. You told him you wish you were more eloquent with your words. He said it didn't matter. He loves you. And you smile.
So there. In this case the only problem is her insecurity. She can always get better and learn more. It won't change the person's heart .
But one more thing. No matter the education level
COMMUNICATION IS KEY
Good love is hard to find.

As educated as you....nothing worse that two people who are on different levels!
Maybe actual SCHOOL education isn't what I'm referring to here but if you both dont ever get the point the other is making you really won't have much of a marriage.

How about a masters degree in something useful. Guys and girls. Don't marry someone who is , ( I'll be kind) less than smart. I could go on. Less than smart children, two or three, go for four or five. Sorry that's not my way. I don't want to be mean. Look in the mirror and decide for yourself.

Educated in common sense and kindness is really all I need. Of course, ideally, college would be nice. :) But, it wouldn't stop me from marrying someone I loved.

How educated should you be? How does it fell to you the other way around. If you are worrying about this - you are looking at the wrong person.

He should have enough of an education to hold a "real" steady job. Not a HS Diploma.

I don't think he or she should be too over educated than their partner as this may cause some concerns in their relationship.... may be over educated one being bossy
