I believe I am an exceptionally good friend to the few people I allow to really get to know me. As a person I have always been more comfortable being a bit private. I think I was raised this way because my mom was the same way. I see myself as more sensitive in feelings than most people I know. It's not that I am so deep that I don't think anyone can come up to my level, I just think I hold friendship so dear I need to feel that the friend is true. I don't gossip, or tell anyones private info that I am told. I would never betray a frined, and feel that a true friend should be able to give another productive criticism if it was needed. If I am betrayed by a person I thought was my friend it's very hard for me to accept this, and to let bygones be bygones. I become very hurt, and my trust is severed. I have a few very good friends I've known for over twentyfive years, and my best friend I've known for fifty years. Most people I refer to as acqaintances. Yes I am a very loyal, and truthful friend, and have always been.

Good friends are far and few between, and sometimes its very hard to know a Good Friend, you might think you know, but then something really awful happens, and that person shows that they arent your good friend. To me, I expect my good friends to be there for me, as I am for them regardless of the situation, they dont take advantage of me, as I dont of them, and regardless of the distance, they always have the time to contact me even just to say "hello", just as I do for them. Yes, I am a good friend to my good friends, and they know they can call on me at any time for anything.

I thought I was but then I see now how wrong I was looking back at just one word that really poisoned a very good friendship.I lost him in a crowd of strangers and it hurts me really bad that I caused that downfall.I miss him terribly.
Truly wish I behaved better and I could bring him back into my life.
I wish he'd forgive and forget.
He's such a great friend I'll treasure forever and for always.
I hope he's happy wherever he may be now.

I think I am because I'm a good listener and try to give reasonable advice. Also because I don't talk about my friends behind their backs and try to always be there when they need me.

I try to be. I get really busy sometimes, but I try to be. I may not return a call within 8 minutes, but I will have your back to the very end.
