The popular dishes are pre made...For example, they make a huge amount of fried rice in the morning when they open. Throughout the day, they just put a heap on your plate and microwave it. Dometimes they might throw it in the frying pan and saute it for a minute. If you notice, when you order a special dish, it will always come out steaming hot because they didn't prepare it for the day. Not enough people order it.

Some places do in fact pre-make a lot of dishes so essentially it's like a a buffet in the back of the house so when you order they just go to hidden buffet and plate the dishes and voila, serve it to you.

u know sometimes i think about that and i wonder ur kool thats probly the best questyion fo a resturant it probly makes people think twice before goin t a restront like how they drop ur food on da ground and putt it back on ur plate or they will through up in ur clam chouder or putt rabnbit dropings it ur vanella wit choclatechips u know imean i have resturants sometimes u know what im sayen

they prepare it ahead of time. the chinese resto we have in my country is diff. you'll die of hunger bec of the not so fast service but the food is good and still hot once they serve it.

That is Chinese food for you. It doesn't take that long to cook a cat or dog. If you feel that way, stop going.
