give them a gift certificate to Starbucks...what kind of new-agie party is this anyway? like you have all the time in the world to become an artist and poet for this person? they should take the coffee and be thankful that you care that much.

A crystal figurine,lead crystal is less expensive but just as beautiful,you may even can find one sculpted like a rose.
