ok, i start my very first day of H.S. next Thurday. I wanted to know, do u think i'll need a bookbag. This is really bugging me, so i need an answer. thanks. c ya ^_^

If only freshmen will be there I rarely doubt if you need a bookbag but things change and schools are different. I was a freshmen back in 98 and on that day where it was just us we sat in the auditorium for most of the day and learned where our classes and lockers were. It was just like going to an orientation. You can always take one on the safe side just in case. If my answer doesn't help you if you have friends who already go to your high school asked them if they needed a bookbag on their first day.

my school is doing that too, where only the freshmen are going to school for a half day, that way we can get used to the school before we're thrown in there with a bunch of seniors and stuff.
to answer your question: yeah, you will definately need a bookbag, unless you're planning on skipping the homework part.

You deinetlly need a bookbag. I'm in the 11-th grade and still carry a bookbag. BTW I'm not from the US so I can't leave my books at school. I know , that sucks.

Yes or a giant pocket book one. They will load you down with books. I got a book bag today for work cause I carry bunches of paper and files with me to work. I got it at walmart for 9 bucks and it's cool. They have some for every age. Check it out. That way when it gets wore you can buy a new one and only be out a couple of bucks. If you don't won't to go to walmart check out old navy that's where I got my last one. Good luck at school.

yeah but get a cool one..messenger bags are really in right now...you can find some at macy's or your local shopping store, not only are they stylish but very comfortable and durable too.
Good luck being a freshmen...remember whatever you do you first year of highschool..will follow you for the next 4 years!
