I thought one of the most poignant scene is in "The Champ" when Rick Schroder (in between sobs) tries to wake his already dead father, played by Jon Voight in the restroom after a boxing comeback match.

In the movie "Driving Miss Daisy" starring Jessica Tandy as a rich elderly woman and Morgan Freeman as her chauffeur as they are talking which makes this a very touching scene because throughout the movie the relationship between these two grow stronger.

Daisy:Hoke?
Hoke: Yes'm
Daisy: Your'e my best friend
Hoke: No, go on Miss Daisy
Daisy: No really you are...you are
Hoke:Yes'm

The scene in Forrest Gump when he finally arrives at Jenny's apartment and she tells him that the boy is his. He asks if he can go talk to him and he goes over to him and asks what he's watching on tv and sits down next to him and starts watching it with him. That was an amazing scene!! Instead of making it this big dramatic scene the filmakers kept it simple and still kept it in line with the movie. It's totally something forrest would do.

I would have to go with The Patriot. The entire movie was amazing, but after the second oldest son dies, and Mel Gibson goes a little crazy, I cried.

Cast Away was spectacular, also.

That scene in Crash where the little girl tells her mother as she's running out the door to protect her father. He doesn't have it any more, he gave it to me , I have the impenetrable cape. The dialog might be off, but I remember that scene and how powerful it was.

GOSH, you sure make it easy, don't you?

Ok, I would have to say in the movie "Camila", where a blindfold is placed over the eyes of 2 lovers as they are looking at each other, just before their execution.

They are the last thing the other sees.

I'm just going to leave it at that.
For more details, you are just going to have to watch the movie.
