No, I don't think so. I remember that I just loved both Britney and Christina, when I was a kid. But not so much Britney anymore, though I love Christina.
Lindsay and Hilary aren't really that popular after all.

hell no! Britney and Christina kinda started this teeny bopper thing! B & C we're the early pop princesses. Its only after them that all those aspiring teen icons started to emerge, including Hillary Duff and Lindsay Lohan! B & C are more popular without a doubt! They sold millions of albums, which I believe L & H have never accomplished yet (partly because they're more known as teen actresses than pop stars).

Yes, they are more popular as teens than Britney and Christina were, because they have been famous in their teens longer than XTina and Brit! Plus, there is more media footage, like the internet and Hilary seems to have WAY more photo-shoots than Britney has had! (OMG! I didn't think it was possible for that and to be famous millionaires any younger!)
Plus, they are better role models, 'cause they are not that provokative (even though they both turned into skeletons and are bossy- but that's every girl's insecurity! But NOT good encouragement!) Plus, they have had movies and TV shows aswell-WAAAY more! (Well, they started as actors than singers, anyway! And the reversal seems to be doing it good for them!)

Actually, I've been thinking about that a lot lately. If you are referring to the Billboard point of view, I guess that has been well documented. But if you are talking about friendships with their peers, I would have to say that Lindsay and Hillary are more down to earth and probably more likely to be able to better relate with their peers. Of course, recent events make me wonder about Lindsay's emotional well being but I guess that's beside the point.

I don't think that Hillary Clinton was really that popular in High School, but I heard that Lindsay Wagner was a cheerleader, so take that for what it's worth.

nope no way...hillary and lindsay are horrible singers. britney can't sing either, but she was hot, and put on a great show. christina is a great singer, and still has a very successful career.

No, i think Britney was the most popular amongst them when they were all teenagers.Everyone knew who Britney was then and you couldn't walk into a mall without hearing the "Baby One More Time" song.

It depends what generation you are talking to.I'm 27 years old so I say Christina and Britney.
