I save them in a jar for a rainy day - just last month I emptied my jar and came up with a whole nine dollars, so I took my daughter to the mall and we took pictures in one of those picture booths to give to my husband and then we got ice cream. A great day for not a lot of money! :)

I save some of them to throw off the empire state building
I don't know why but I don't get very many pennies anyway

It's a stupid thing to trow out your money, and I'm not a cheap skate, Just think about it like this: if you go to a store and u don't have one pence, you can'r buy bread, they won't give you anything. And `1 penny is the first step to your fist million. If you would have "only" 999 999 $ and you did not have that last cent, that would mean that you'r not a millionare yet, isn't that right? I think it is.

I save mine cause one day when i was saving my pennies I ended up with 50 bucks. No lie i just dropped them and a jar and eventually looked inside and saw all the ones that I have saved up.

I save all my pennies in a cute, lil' piggy bank, and when I've got a whole bunch, I roll them up and bring to the bank to put them in my son's savings account or cash them in.

I have been saving my pennies in crates since 1947. Two more crates and I am going to start gluing them together to build a shed for my garden tractor and lawn tools.

I save them in a one gallon old pickle jar and when it gets full I cash it in for about 70 bucks of cash ,so pennies do add up..

Sometimes I just throw them out b/c I get so frustrated that they're worth so little. And even when I've got 5lbs worth of them, it's still only like $10!!!

I put my spare pennies in a giant plastic coke bottle and save them for my holidays

Give them to my kids. My grandparents started filling a 5 gallon jug for my daughter when she was just a baby and we are trying to fill it 7 years later. It's about 2/3 full.... wonder who's gonna lift it when it's full (that sucker will be HEAVY)
