They are probably attracted to eachother cause they feel confident infront of eachother and show more of themselves and their inner selves if they are around people who don't care about looks.
I think people who are "ugly" or have low self-esteem, seem to lower their standards. Cause it doesn't really work when an ugly person insults someone that looks better than them physically.

I think maybe they have a better understanding of the fact that everyone has shortcomings, and you can't expect someone to overlook yours if you can't overlook theirs. They spend more time looking at the person, instead of the package. And I don't believe that it is only "ugly" people that have this ability. A lot of it comes with maturity and experience. Ever hear that old song, "If you wanna be happy for the rest of your life..."

everyone has their different opinions on whos ugly and whos not...and sometimes when someones personality is soo good it makes them attractive....

'UGLY'??? that's what you say...but for them (whom you called: ugly people) is a uniqueness that rare people have..that is much more attractive than 'CUTE PEOPLE ATTRACTED EACH OTHER'... nothing interesting bout that.
