Must have been , wait , didn't we do business with Saddam and sell him guns . Rummy had his photo taken shaking hands with him . And did we give information ,training and guns to Osama to beat the USSR . They did and now they have their sights on us . So how bad could he have been , we did allow Americans to go there and spend their money . When Castro took over, he took away the property from the wealthy and they left to come to America . We refused to help Castro so he turned to the USSR and we hated Communism so much that our Government called him an enemy and the wealth Cubans that were here urged the government to not trade with Cuba .. Because of the large block of votes in FL , from the Cubans there , it influences the candidates that run for President . What goes around comes around .

Fulgencio Batista y ZaldÃvar was the president before Castro and he was a Military Dictator that turned Cuba into what Miami is now for the Mob. It was a major source for money laundering American criminals with money to hide.

Presidente Fulgencio Batista. He never killed as many Cubans as Castro has. Castro slaughtered many, many Cubans in the 60's because they opposed his tyranny. Batista? He was trying to extinguish poverty in Havana and throughout Cuba.
Castro turned tyrant ever since the Washington Senators baseball team turned him down.

It was rife with corruption, but at least people were free to
go where they chose. Nothing like the horror that the Cuban
people have suffered the past thirty years.
