I think it is because they can hide behind the net and be anybody they want to be. In a way you may be seeing what people in general are really like because there are basically no repercussions for being nasty, mean, lying, etc. on the net.

First, I think the vast majority of people have become increasingly rude over the years. This has to do with stress, I think, and a relaxing of the rules of decency...what is acceptable and what is not.
Secondly, the internet allows for a certain amount of anonymity, and there aren't too many repercussions or consequences to or for such behavior. You can be a royal b**** to the whole world online and no one will ever know it was you...unless you tell them.

I was thinking the same! But the rudeness is more in America, if you go to Canada, Australia or the UK sites people are more civilized
Depending on the topic you are reading there is a world of difference too, also some people should learn to spell.
I find it amazing that America is trying to educate and rule the world
I conclude that America people are a load of loud mouthed, brash, illiterate twits.
So there !!!!!!!!!!!!! stick that in your missiles and fire it.

very good remark!
it's actually their way of approach..their way of coming into you and see how far you can withstand before you start to break and fall eventually.
They are everywhere even in the real world but here you have an option to take and that is not to mind them--just ignore those type of people.
" They can come but don't let them get into you and change your 100dollar bill to a single cent by lowering your standards just to get level with them. It's just a waste of time, they're just not worth it! "

because people today don't have very good manners and sometimes they don't consider the feelings of other people so they think they can say whatever they want
