Abortion - the termination of a pregnancy.
Dilitation and Extraction, D&X, (Partial Birth Abortion) - the baby is delivered feet first. The head is left inside the birth canal. A sharp instrument is used to puncture the rear of the skull at the base and the brains are sucked out. Once dead, the baby is fully delivered.
Dilatation & Curettage (D&C) - Abortive procedure where the abortionists inserts a curved knife into the placenta and cuts the baby up into pieces before it is suctioned out. Done in the first trimester.
Dilatation & Evacuation - An abortive procedure where an abortionist inserts a pliers-like instrument into the uterus. The abortionist then grabs whatever part of the baby it comes in contact with. Then, by twisting and pulling, the baby is dismembered, killed, and pulled from the womb.
Mifepristone or Mifeprex (RU-486) - a pill taken after conception that stops the absorption of Progesterone, a hormone necessary for sustaining pregnancy. Taken with misoprostol that causes the uterus to contract and eject the newly conceived baby.
Partial Birth Abortion - An abortive method where all the baby is delivered except the head. With its body outside of the vaginal canal, the doctor then uses a sharp instrument to pierce the back of the skull of the baby and scramble the brains, killing it. Then the baby is fully delivered.
Pregnancy Reduction - An abortive method of reducing the number of babies in the womb (twins, triplets, etc.) by injecting a poison into the heart of one or more of the babies while still in the womb.
Saline Amniocentesis - An abortive method where a highly concentrated salt solution is injected into the placenta. The baby takes the salt into the lungs as well as swallowing it. After more than an hour, the baby dies and the mother delivers the body a day or two later.

Yes blah blah blah.
Make your point. I myself will not probably not have an abortion because that is my choice.
On the other hand, there are loads of babies abandoned and suffering in the world, maybe their parents were not ready for children or their parents were crack heads. Who knows why really but if they were aborted there would be less suffering in this world. All those termination (abortion) facts are true facts of the procedure, why are you callin the mass of cells a baby.
A baby is not a baby until it's born. First it's an egg/ovum and a sperm, then they get together and fuse so it becomes zygote. Then some chemical and hormonal reactions take place and you have a blastocyst. Then 8 weeks have to pass and we have an embryo............then eventually after a while we have a fetus. It remains a fetus until it is born, this is when it's a baby. This is what I remember from Bio class in high school a while back. So dont be trying to scare people, if you can't handle a the responsibilty of carrying a pregnancy and then raising a child on your own, then the best possible solution is termination. Your choice and your decision. Some people regret it and some people are very pleased with their choice.
An abortion is the removal or expulsion of an embryo or fetus from the uterus, resulting in, or caused by, its death. This can occur spontaneously as a miscarriage, or be artificially induced through chemical, surgical or other means.

Many anti-abortion activists have been known to distort medical information about abortion that they distribute on the internet. This quoted text is biased (obvious by the wording) and has no neutral source or authority which can be checked for accuracy.

Reported for blatant preaching instead of asking an earnest question, which is what this site is for.

right, i know all this and what is your point? Don't you want the right to choose? it is very easy for someone that has not be incestrally raped or that is not in direct trouble of they have a baby to say that abortion is bad. maybe you should open up your mind a little bit more...
