I like high intense scenes, plenty of gore, the kind of movie that sends shivers down your spine.

I have been a fan of horror films since I was a child when my mother and I would watch old Vincent Price films, etc. I personally do not like the gory, in-your-face stuff and I would actually classify those as something other than horror. Maybe slash and trash? I think the best work in horror films is from the 40's/50's/60's. I like "Gaslight", anything by Price, among others. I prefer suspense over blood, I suppose.

Only if a movie has something more to offer than just extreme gore for its own sake. If used properly in the context of the story and if there indeed is a story.

I hate gore, but wish they would show it in context in murder and war movies. I think people should know that people who have died violently do not look like mannequins sleeping peacefully.

I find horror in the misspellings and ignorance of you humans.

Hitchcock was the man. If it wasn't for him I would not be stuck on this planet... but according to our records you all die in about.........
