Do you think one's emotions and personality that lives in NEW YORK CITY would differ from one who lives in Florida? I mean big city, money, money, money...tension & stress, people being crowded all of the time VS. Calmness, quiet beaches, palm trees, beautiful and clear views of the sunrises and sunsets...I mean the rain affects us right? Makes most people want to sleep and feel lazy all day so if the weather affects our moods and whatnot why wouldnt our physical living enviorment and surroundings?.. Do you think people who live in vacation spots and etc have more patience than those who live in busy cities and are slightly or unconsciously less worried about money? Your opinions on this?

I am not indicating that where you live completely makes up who we are...I am indicating that it may ''affect'' who we are and chose to be. I know that situations, your past, your upbringing, your relationship with your family etc, all contribute to who you are and become so what I am saying is that your physical enviorment could also AFFECT you as well as those other aspects of your life.

Yes, but not quite for the same reasons.... I often can feel the stress of others WITHOUT even seeing or knowing them. I am deeply affected by cities purely by the # of people that I can "feel".

Depends. If you work in so called "vacation spots", it sucks. Florida is not all it's cracked-up to be, I've lived there and there is tension, road rage, stress and OLD PEOPLE WHO DRIVE CARS!!! You still have to have money no matter where you are and that creates tension. Live is what you make it, no matter where you live. Even if you were rich with no financial problems you still create your own problems. For instance, your kids are spoiled and don't know how to work for a living. You're married to an all out *********. who thinks you owe her the world because she married you. You feel hollow inside because there is no meaning to your life. So, think about it, as I said, life is what you make it, no matter where you live.

As long as we keep reacting to the situations from outside, each situation contributes to our emotions ! Staying in a location simply means a repeated exposure to a similar situation, and over a period of time, it has to affect the emotions deeper !
That is exactly why, on spiritual path, the first step is to try to loosen oneself from the 'grip' of situation, and taste inner freedom from bondage of situation-related emotions !

But the question is laudable, since there is a quest for seeking freedom from the situation 'dictated' responses !

everything depends on so many different pieces of information...the weather in that city, the person in question's personality, what they like and dislike, whether they enjoy the weather and lifestyle of that city, whether they feel accepted or comfortable among their society, everything. one person might love florida because of the hot weather, but someone else might hate it because they're used to the cold. everything subconsciously affects our emotions, from the stars all the way down to the quarks and gluons that make up the atoms and molecules that make up us and everything else that we see. everything that we feel and experience changes us and allows us to feel comfortable or uneasy, or anything else in between.

I think weather definitely has an influence on peoples' mood, activity, and outlook on life.
