AMG is official Benz tuner. Brabus is car customizer that has attained popular status, similar to Lorinser except Brabus makes body kits and engines where Lorinser just makes rims. Some dealers will sell Brabus-badged cars.

Both where race guys that modified MB cars for the street. MB was looking for more performance to keep up with BMW so they bought AMG a few years back. Both have sold cars with the MB badge still on it. Brabus has a dealer in Newport Beach.

AMG is Mercedes' in house tuner, Brabus is just a company that changes the fenders, rims, etc...they are not a performace tuner

AMG used to be a seperate aftermarket company but now they are part of MB hence they have AMG badges as well as MB badges. Before this, they had to remove the MB badges when they modified them. Brabus is an aftermarket company so I think they don't have MB badging.

amg is part of mercedes, where as brabus only accepts the finish mercedes product and fine tunes it for you with engine kits, exhaust and suspension kits and so on..
they are just like renntech which is another tuner
