india had qualified in the 1950 world cup as thast time there were some british players , and they were force to pull out as they did not have shoes , india is now ranked 125 in fifa rankings and since india has no star players then it looks impossible , but if India starts getting star players they can surely qualify
India last won a trophy something 2 yrs back , that was the saff cup , that brought india from rank 152 to 122.
if india wins , whole india will be closed as a holiday will be declared , then i will enjoy the whole day with all freinds will have a jolly time

they say it would not get larger than this. the present Indian group holds the no.a million spot in try scores, has gained the t20 international cup (albeit in 2007) and now the international CUP (the cup that counts). there is rather little left to realize. Dhoni himself has gained the IPL, Champion's league, T20 international cup, the 50 over international cup as captain. there will be various bilateral series here and there, yet those are forgotten rapidly whilst they are over. the subsequent international cup is 4 years away and there isn't any t20 international cup this 3 hundred and sixty 5 days. suitable now's the time to have fun. i'm hoping we've the gamers parade in an open perfect bus in Mumbai like in 2007 !!!

Has india even qualified ever before?
I personally would like to see Ghana and Ivory Coast win it they played some amazing football and next world cup will be in South Africa so maybe more supporters will come out for both teams.

To be realistic, I don't think India can win the World Cup. They need to have good players to compete first, in the Asian qualifying round. Well, they won't stand a chance of winning. Anyway, India did qualify for the 1950 WC, but they withdrew...for the most amazing reason. FIFA won't let them play in bare feet !!!

If it is an Indian team there will be reservations. May be 4 seats for SC/ST, 2 seats for OBC, 2 for the physically challenged, 2 for mentally challenged and a blind goal keeper! No offence, but that is how it works in India.

What kind of question is that?
First off it's gotta happen first.
Second off it never will.
Third off, when it does hell will have frozen over and I'll let you know then how I feel.
K?
