I am an independent libertarian. I have chosen this because i value liberty, personal responsibility, free will, low taxes, and independent thought.
The democrats:
They say they are "liberal". they are not. their path is that of conforming to the idea of anti-establishment. they are about taking things that would normally be the responsibility of individuals and forcing their method of taking care of those things on the people. they are in favor of making more and more laws and taking things out of the bill of rights to limit people's liberties. they are "communist lite"
The republicans: their path is "conservative". this is a bad path. the conservative movement in europe was shortly after the napoleonic wars and was the idea that people should be loyal to their lords and kings like good serfs should. they try to say that conservative means fiscal resonsibility and conserving wealth. as you can see with the tax cuts for the rich, they have done no such thing. where is all that money now? probably lining the pockets of robber barons.
Currently support the president...hmm.. he could definitely use my support, as he isnt going anywhere fast without it. While he is in office i shall do my civic duty to make sure he is protected from bodily harm. but after he leaves office he's on his own. As a good american citizen i am loyal to the constitution and the values therein. i am loyal to the office of the president, but i am not loyal to any mortal man. loyalty to people is a definite mark of a despotic society. people were loyal to hitler, stalin, hussein, kim jung il, mao tse tung, mussolini, etc and it allowed those individuals to make the rules. They were not held to standards. they made their own standards. In the US, we hold(or should) our elected officials to standards and are justified in killing them immediately if they overstep their boundaries and are not corrected by their fellow officials.

republican because i think people should be responsible for themselves and less government and to be more conservative with my money i.e taxes and i think people and the U.S have the right to defend yourself even if the liberals don't think people should have the right to have a gun and i think the libs are pussys they think if we give the enemy a lot of stuff and be nice maybe they wont want to kill us but that dose not work just look at what bill clinton did he gave north Korea nuclear technology but we didn't want them to make a bomb but now they are
