Or have you not yet considered if you are one?

I encounter so many anti thought terrorists on Yahoo answers that it is not funny!!

Those who call you a "terrorist" just because you think original or may be because you don't have a photo or racial profile same as theirs!! They wont examine the notion "we are the goody they are the baddy!"

Do you encounter violence against thinking? Is this what translates into or legitimises physical violence later on?

Does an inability to think, or refusal to see things from another's point of view translate into violence. I think it certainly could.
Some people might not like to think because thinking may involve a change. Thinking may involve a realization that my dearest held beliefs are wrong. Nobody wants to be proven wrong so instead of thinking too deeply into the issues, its easier to block these thoughts out, call the presenter of these new thoughts names, distance yourself from them by making them the other thus different from you and when all else fails use your fists to talk for you. Because if you can win in a physical fight it makes your beliefs right. Right?

I think the KKK is an example of a group of people turning to violence because they were too scared to open up to new ideas and to see life from another person's point of view.

I too am a member of the "Free Thinkers."

History tells us that at one time the Colonists revolted from England. Ah, the times of Patriots and Traitors! Ok, now fast foreword to today. American Democracy spread by American Patriots is being revolted against by the Terrorists. (Table's turned.)

As with the lessons of the Colonist's vs the Native American, we see that the Indian wanted no part of the New World (order) or their ways ... they too revolted and were referred to as Savages.

Expansionism means: Somebody has to ASSIMOLATE. Those who refuse to assimolate are still hunted down and killed.

The concept of the Native American Reservation, seemed to keep my people in their place ... so why not try it with the Palestinians?! (Should be pretty easy. Indians stayed pertty quiet.) No sir, the Palestians were a different breed of dog and so the conflict grows and continues.

That's what they DON'T teach you in class. Keep THINKING!!!!!

you're lacking the evaluate regards to the controversy on torture. the two some thing is incorrect or it rather is not. the form of interrogation we use won't discourage those human beings. Torture outcomes interior the sufferer confessing to something to get alleviation. Terrorists use drills and warm irons in interrogations. They punish their little ones with the aid of having a vehicle run over the toddler's arm. They experience that loss of life for his or her reason is their reward in this existence. on the different hand, we rejoice existence. we are pleased with our humanitarian values and don't desire to be interior an identical employer as terrorists. Who cares in the event that they snort. they have little regard for human existence. i think of reality serum could artwork a lot extra suited.

I don't think I am. However, there may be some who disagree.

I try to see all sides of issues, but there are some that are just too off-the-wall to consider. I especially 'love' the 9/11 conspiracy fans. They hate Bush so much that they can't conceive that there are evil people that are based in Muslim countries who wish to harm America.

hehehe thats quite funny. I knew there was a battle for the mind, but isn't this taking things a little too literally? I think that a little competition is a healthy thing for thought...

"Great spirits have always encountered opposition from mediocre minds. The mediocre mind is incapable of understanding the man who refuses to bow blindly to conventional prejudices and chooses instead to express his opinions courageously and honestly." -Albert Einstein

Oh, fire fighter, I have come to you again, and I really must insist that you come into a place of peace. I do see what you are saying about enemies of thought, but the beauty of free will and enlightenment is that from that place, no one elses thoughts or desire to deprive you of yours matters. Instead of holding so much anger, try to see how you play a role in growth of humanity. I know there is love in you.

Your words not mind...
"They won't examine the notion 'we are the goody they are the baddy' ." Seems to me that YOU are an enemy of thought. Either that or I did not understand your question and your train of thought.

I am Jewish, so yes I have experienced racism. I do not think you are a terrorist. You ask some intelligent questions. You sometimes seem to have a bit of a chip on your shoulder......not everyone on here is so young that they judge you by your photo. I personally judge people by their actions. Peace to you from frogspeaceflower.

A wide majority are ignorant people who have never left their state or country, and only know what is told to them via slanted news. They lack the ability to reason for themselves, and don't understand that things aren't as they are in their small isolated societies.
