i lost my dad while i was pregnant with my last baby.
i lost my mother to cancer last year.
i lost my best friend when i caught her in bed with the man that i was pregnant by in my bed.
i lost an adopted daughter to a car accident

I lost the girl wanted to marry eventually, but I didn't know that I had lost her before I ever met her to her childhood trauma. Never had a real chance in hell. We were best friends for a few years.
I also lost being a father to her two boys. And I love them with all my pea-pickin' heart. *gulp* (gazukes that stings to even write)...
I hope that is the biggest loss I have for a long, long time. It was pretty painful. When I commit and love, I mean it. I feel lucky almost compared to some of the stores on here...
On the upside, I got myself back. And that is pretty valuable to me.
There are some painful answers on here- grabbed my heart strings. What have you lost that was valuable- that is the whole reason I even answered (because my news is old news to me).

The only valuable thing in my life is my son. People would wind up dead if I lost him.

I think of all the things I've lost I miss my mind the most, but on the good side it makes a great doorstop!!!!!

the only grandmother who actually gave a d@mn about me (see she had a stroke this past june...her mind is not as it use to be...it saddens and hurts me dearly to see her in such a lowered mental and physical state); my grandmother raised me when i was little

lost audio tapes of my 3 living grandparents talking about their own childhoods. at least i still carry my memories of them in my heart.
