When anything and everything about them makes you happy, hardly make you sad, you care/worry about them, contact them a lot, you know you are grateful/cherish them.
This is the basic.
But there are different types of love- for an enemy (LoL! True! Love to kick their ass!!), acquaintance, friend, sex partner, family member, business partner, peer, boyfriend/girlfriend, husband/wife, pet, etc!

Love is a matter of practice, while lust is an instant surge of hormones... You can have both in a relationship, but lust can be fulfilled by anyone, while love belongs to only one!

when you feel like that person is your everything and without them life i pointless.
you feel like you were made to fit eprfectly into his arms and you never wanna leave them.
when you hear their voice you smile and feel a suidden rush of happiness.
when you dress up for them even though you know they love you no matter what ..but you wanna look nice for them.
you're able to know that he is eprfect for you and you fit together like puzzle pieces.
