AND...they cannot tell you why they filed in the first place.
Do you take them back? Would you want to know the reason they filed in the first place?

Whether you take them back or not is a life-altering decision. If you decide yes, then protect the future of the relationship by engaging in marriage counseling. That should be a mandate of the reconciliation. It might even be worth going a little extra and enrolling the errant spouse in personal counseling. Something set them on the wrong path, and it may be too private to discuss in font of the other.
At some time, it seems it would be reasonable to have an explanation. But that may never happen.

Sound like the question I asked a while back. NO do not take him back. He may be confused about how he feels about you, but he should not take it out on you. My hubby did the same thing, but only because he cheated and he felt guilty so he asked for a divorce, when I asked him why he took his love back, then he realized what he did and wanted me back. I took him back and I am not so sure I should have. It caused more problems. I do not feel it is worth it.

Kick him out of your life. You cn get over it one of these days.If he can tell it to you now, he will definitely do it again. In the first place, why should he divorce you. Either he's having 2nd thoughts about you or he' having an affair. Suffer for now rather than wait forever.

I can't tell you about your situation for sure, but just so you keep an eye out, just in case, when my ex did this, it was because he was gay and he did not want to admit it to me. We did divorce.
