I've actually seen many and few that I would want to know personally. They've mostly been actors or actresses.
When I lived in the Hollywood Hills Morgan Fairchild and China Phillips and Robert Culp lived on the same hill as I.
I actually was more impressed meeting and getting to talk to Frank Zappa (who's recording studio was down the hill on Ventura Boulevard) before he died. And even better I got the see Leonard Cohen at the same time.
I would rather have met Joan Diddion or Susan Sontag or Sam Sheppard but that never happened. Brains mean more to me than beauty.

Yes. Long ago, Dizzy Gillespie, Leonard Nimoy, Jesse White the Maytag repairman, George Gobel, Rudy Vallee, William Windom, Butterfly McQueen, Forrest Tucker, and on the street in New York, Doris Belack and soap opera actors Peter Bergman and James Mitchell. In concert, Ethel Merman; Chicago; Crosby, Stills and Nash; and Destiny's Child. With my kids, saw and talked to baseball great Fergie Jenkins. My husband saw Bob Hope, Shirley Jones, John Carradine, Sammy Davis Jr., Garrison Keillor and others. All of us have been to several major baseball games and saw the players "live," if that counts! Got autographs of a few.

Yes, quite a few, you want some? My dad used to direct Soul Train.
My son's had his share of Celebrity drive-bys as well. My brother worked for the A/V company that did Lalapalooza last year and gave my son a backstage pass. He got to hang out with Billy Idol and play his guitars.
